Little Leaf uses the Trefle.io API to provide plant species information, taxonomy data, and botanical details. When you search for a plant or view species information:

• Search queries (plant names, keywords) are transmitted to Trefle.io servers
• No personally identifiable information is sent as part of these requests
• Trefle.io's own privacy policy governs data processed on their servers

7.2 Kindwise — Plant & Pest Identification

Little Leaf uses the Kindwise API to power AI-based plant and pest identification from photos. When you use the identification feature:

• The photo you capture or upload is transmitted to Kindwise servers for analysis
• Kindwise processes the image and returns identification results to Little Leaf
• Images may be temporarily retained by Kindwise in accordance with their own data policy
• We strongly advise that photos submitted for identification do not contain faces, personal documents, or other sensitive personal information
