Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using MoonPair, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Welcome to MoonPair, a dating application operated by Caesium Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MoonPair mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By registering for or using MoonPair, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MoonPair, you confirm that:
If you are using MoonPair on behalf of a business entity, you also represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use MoonPair, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction
- Not have been previously banned or suspended from MoonPair
- Not be a registered sex offender
Age Requirement: MoonPair is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Providing a false date of birth to gain access is a violation of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence.
3. Your Account
3.1 Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
- You may only create one account per person
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.2 Account Responsibility
- You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must not share your account with or transfer it to anyone else
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
3.3 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting us. Please see our Account Deletion page for full details on the process and data handling.
4. Use of the Service
MoonPair grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically to connect with other adults for dating, friendship, or relationship purposes.
4.1 You May
- Create and manage a personal dating profile
- Browse, like, and match with other users
- Send and receive messages with your matches
- Use all features available to your account tier
4.2 You May Not
- Use MoonPair for commercial purposes, advertising, or promoting services
- Access, scrape, or collect data from other users without their consent
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to interact with the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or servers
5. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to our Community Guidelines, the following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination:

| Scamming | Romance scams, soliciting money, phishing, fraudulent links |
| Hate Speech | Content targeting users based on race, religion, gender, orientation, or disability |
| Privacy Violations | Sharing another user's private information or images without consent |
| Platform Abuse | Creating multiple accounts, ban evasion, abusing the report system |
6. User Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you post on MoonPair (photos, bios, messages). By posting content, you grant Caesium Studios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce that content solely for the purposes of operating and improving the Service.
6.2 Content Standards
- All content must comply with our Community Guidelines
- You must own or have the right to use any content you post
- You must not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
6.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice. Repeated violations will result in account termination.
7. Intellectual Property
All elements of the MoonPair app — including but not limited to the logo, design, code, features, and branding — are the intellectual property of Caesium Studios and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of MoonPair without express written permission
- The MoonPair name, logo, and brand identity are trademarks of Caesium Studios
- Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you
8. Subscriptions & Payments
8.1 Free & Premium Tiers
MoonPair offers both a free tier and optional premium subscription plans that unlock additional features. Details of current plans and pricing are available within the app.
8.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at purchase
- Payments are processed through the applicable app store (Google Play or Apple App Store)
- All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes where required
8.3 Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Refunds are governed by the refund policies of the applicable app store
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods or unused features
Note: Deleting the MoonPair app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your app store account settings.
9. Privacy
Your use of MoonPair is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using MoonPair, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Safety & Reporting
We are committed to keeping MoonPair safe. You agree to:
- Report any users or content that you believe violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines
- Not abuse the reporting or blocking systems
- Cooperate with our safety team if we reach out regarding a report or investigation

11. Disclaimers
MoonPair is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any user profiles or content
- We are not responsible for the conduct — online or offline — of any user
- We do not guarantee that you will find a match or achieve any particular outcome through using the app
- We are not responsible for interactions that take place outside of the MoonPair platform

12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Caesium Studios and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Conduct or content of any third party or other user on the Service
Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may stop using MoonPair at any time and delete your account as described in Section 3.3 and our Account Deletion page.
13.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to MoonPair at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
- Violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or any applicable law
- Engaged in conduct that endangers other users or the platform
- Provided false information during registration
- Been found to be under 18 years of age
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data handling following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at studios.caesium@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve it within 30 days.
14.3 Formal Disputes
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protection laws, those laws are not affected by this clause.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We will post the revised Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
- For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification
- Your continued use of MoonPair after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
- If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account before the effective date
By using MoonPair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein.
